Covid19 Health and Safety Measures
Ballet Afrique’s current set of COVID-19 protocols reflect recommendations from the CDC, federal, state, local health officials. With the health and safety of our students and staff as our highest priority, Ballet Afrique’s protocols are proactive and ever-evolving. As we receive new updates, we will stay in conversation with our families about all changes.
Here are the protocols when we return to class this Fall:
- Families are asked to stay on the lookout for Covid19 symptoms. Please keep your student at home if they show any cold or allergy-like signs, i.e., coughing, sneezing, or a temperature of 100.4 or higher.
- Ballet Afrique staff are fully vaccinated.
Building Access
- Students will enter through the front door on 11th street. Students will be released at the West entrance i.e., by the lobby.
- Entry to the space will be limited to staff and students. Families should plan to drop off and pick up students outside the building. There will be no exceptions!
- Students will have access to the studio/class space 5 mins before the start of class.
- We will not be able to accommodate early or late drop off.
Other measures
- Masks are required for staff and students. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Families are asked to send your student with hand sanitizer for each class if it is age-appropriate to do so.
